benji

we have a little friend over here name benji, and he is this adorable little 50 year old turtle. every time we walked past his house, we would stop in for a visit, and he was usually sleeping in the shade but would every once in a while come when we called him and give the boys a little up close and personal visit!

 

isn't he so cute!?! i guess this lady found him a long time ago, and she feeds him scraps from her kitchen, and he lives in her yard, and she is on her death bed, but benji is still just chilin in the shade eating her leftovers :)

 

now that we have a car, we see much of benji anymore, but we stopped over yesterday for a little visit, and he's just our most favorite turtle friend on the island. love you benji boy!
