keep a wrinkle

these are some of my favorite girls in the whole wide world! chelsea and amelia are girls that i taught with in south korea, and we became the bestest of best friends during our adventures together. we rode elephants together and encountered many a creepy old korean men. we got lost and sun burned and took tons of self portraits and just had the time of our lives together :)

we have managed to have one reunion since our time in korea together, but it had been too long, so we arranged another one! lucky for me, i didn't even have to leave home, and the girls came here! we also had another tagalong or two this time, and here is one of them! this is amelia and ed's little freddie, and since our apartment isn't very big at all, we thought we'd try out the tub as a bed one night, and he did pretty darned good! haha

he eventually ended up snuggling with mom on the air mattress in our dining room though. so cute!

we were sooooooo excited to reminisce, but the thing we were most excited about was reliving the korean cuisine! here we are at so kong dong where we were in heaven with our dolsot bibimbap and korean bbq! i can still taste it now, and it did not disappoint!!!

clearly, we were a little excited! it's amazing how wonderful that food is when you haven't had it in years! we stuffed our faces and visited and reminisced kid-free (thanks friend!), and it was grrrrreat!

here we are post stuffing our faces - full up! we ate so much food, but it was so worth it and took us back to a very fun time in our lives.

the 3 of us called ourselves keep a wrinkle over in korea. random i know, but korea is random, and i think we found that saying on a key chain once or something. so, when we started our little superly successful and on key band, we decided on keep a wrinkle as our name. haha we were such nerds but totally lived it up and had so many giggles together! i love you girls and couldn't have picked any better friends to ride the roller coaster of our time in korea together! here's a little performance to trigger some more memories and more giggles of course :) love it!!! haha oh ya and pleeeease, don't judge me on this video! it was super duper late at night, and korea does some strange things to us english speakers! we had fun at least!

I'm crying over here. Not sure if it's from laughing so hard or from embarrassment from that video!

Love you girls!!! Let's have another reunion soon once the newest tag-a-long is here!!!

do you know what keep a wrinkle means to a lot of people? Ask Brodie next time you see him...
