we missed our families so much this easter weekend! it's one of those holidays that brings back memories of finding candy and decorating and rolling eggs and eating yummy food and spending lots of time with our favorite people! thankfully, it wasn't all that different this year :)
the easter bunny came and hid candy as usual…….and our boys LOVED it!
dad made his annual easter basket cupcakes for our friends, and beckam got right in on that action! love their concentrating tilted heads :)
then, we decorated our easter eggs! the boys loved coloring on the eggs and so did we of course :) cara and eric joined us for our easter fun, and we were proud to introduce them to the art of…….
rolling easter eggs!
they'd never heard of our crazy tradition, but they had fun, and there's no turning back once you roll an easter egg :)
the boys had sooooo much fun! i wish we could have gotten a double flat of eggs from costco, but our dozen was perfect. we didn't have any grassy rolling coulees, but the slave path was the perfect place to let the eggs go statia-style, and some of them even made it all the way to the bottom!
we had a blast and made some awesome egg rolling memories :) happy easter everyone!

What a fun blog!!! Loved seeing that you guys still enjoyed Easter! We definitely missed you guys like crazy!!!! Dust had never rolled Easter eggs before doing it with us too... weirdos haha
