raindrops keep falling on my head

we went for one last picnic at zeelandia with eric and cara the other day, and we were so excited about our treats and pbj's and to watch the sunset and play in the big waves. it didn't exactly work out that way, but it was still a blast :)

 

 

we had a few minutes of play before we had to take cover from the storm we decided to ignore to begin with. we thought it would pass like most rainfalls do around here this time of year, but it didn't….. at all! haha me and cara and maddox huddled under the blanket watching these crazy boys play in the waves, and beckam ran around like a crazy man jumping in the waves and soaking it all up :) we eventually gave in and took all of our soaking wet selves and stuff to the car and headed home for a picnic on the floor instead!

 

the food was still good, and we enjoyed our hot showers and picnic inside while we watched the rain outside!
