the year of 2005 was spent in south korea for me :) i was nervous beyond words for that little adventure, and i remember writing in my journal in the airport in san francisco on the way there - totally freaking out and wondering what i had gotten myself into!
it turned out being one of the best years of my life thanks to these 2 girls though :) chels and mel and i were pretty inseparable (after mel decided i wasn't a snot after all!), and we had a blast!
we bungee jumped and hiked and toured around. we tried new food and had lots of sleepovers and parties :) we danced and sang and stayed up way too late and just had the time of our lives!
these girls are the kind of friends where when you see them after a 3 year absence, you pick up right where you left off - the true kind of friends, and i love them eleventy four!
seriously, sooooo many good memories! mud fest, the yummy chocolate milk, subway rides, stares from many a korean strangers, choco pies, eggs and tiny wieners, rain storms, thailand, nore-bongs pumpkin pies at midnight, and we will forever be known as keep a wrinkle :)
we had the chance to reunite for a little girls weekend a few weeks ago, and it was awesome! we shopped and got pedicures and stayed up late and chatted and caught up and giggled and ate the best korean food and just had such a fun time! thanks for being those forever kind of friends girls, and can't wait to do this again soon! pitch perfect 2 date!?!?
