quincey lynn tolman

here it is - the story of our little quincey girl! i really wanted to be induced so that dust could ask for a few days off and so my mom could fly down and so that i could shower and look half decent before going in too! thankfully, i was 2 1/2 cm dilated at my last appt, and dr. bickley agreed to induce! he called later that day and gave me the induction date.......oct 31st!

i really hoped to not have a halloween baby, i'm not gonna lie, but the few contractions on oct 30th didn't amount to anything until the morning of oct 31st! i was having contractions (ones where you have to stop what you're doing and take a deep breath) every 5 minutes when we went in to be induced. so.....we got all registered and found out i was indeed in labor! like it or not, this baby girl was coming on halloween!

i got all hooked up and got my drugs and loaded up on ice chips while we waited for things to move along! induction time was 9am, but we were a little late, and then it took a while to get all set up and such. so, dust took a snooze (like husbands do - lucky sons of guns), and i hoped she wouldn't take too long to show up :)

and.....she didn't! they didn't want to break my water cuz the doctor wasn't there yet, but it broke anyway (on its own for the first time ever), and she was coming! dr. bickley got there just in time to tell me i could push, and 3 tries and she was out! i pushed for a good while with all 3 boys, so i couldn't believe it, and my first question........is it really a girl?!?!?!

and it was!!! she was crying away, and my heart was overflowing when i heard her! my baby girl was here :)

i know all moms everywhere understand that there is just no words to describe how you feel when that little one is placed in your arms. pure love, pure joy, what life is all about :)

born at 1:25pm on oct 31st - 8lbs 7oz and 21 1/2" - our biggest baby yet and all girl!!! my super hero boys and my super hero hubby came down a few hours after she was born and again......it was love at first sight!

beckam was especially smitten with his little sis, but they were all so excited to meet her!

jeter was even excited! haha

dust was anxious for a name, but i was so unsure! we had it down to 6 - indie, kobee, reese, gracie, maysa, and quincey. we narrowed it down to kobee and quincey, and dust left it up to me. quincey wasn't my top pick before we met this little gal, but i had a moment where i just know that was it, and  i love it, and it fits her perfectly!!!

dust went home to take the boys trick or treating, so it was just me and my babe for the night, and our snuggles were priceless! our other babies seemed to sleep for forever the first night, but she was a fussy mussy unless she was on my, and i was ok with that :)

redhead?!?!? we think so!

nana flew in the next day - yay!!!! love my mama :)

we got out the next morning to bring out little quincey lynn home, and life hasn't been the same since! she is perfect, and we love her so much!!!!!!
