an amazing gal!

so...i spend a lot of time with my sister-in-law lacey down here and i mean A LOT of time! our husbands are both very dedciated to their studies and even though they are awesome at balancing school and family, they spend a lot of time studying at school and at home. this means that us wives are alone with the kids most of the time of course, and i love being a mom more than anything, but adult interaction is vital to sanity for me and for lacey. so, 2 husbands chiropractor bound + 2 moms craving adult interaction = quality friendship.



lace is an amazing mom and wife. she is soooo patient with aj and is always thinking of fun things to do with him and ways to teach him new things, and he just loves his mama! she wrestles with him, and being 6 months pregnant - that isn't the easiest thing to do! she has taught him manners and colors and the names of every motor vehicle known to man, and he is just an awsome kid which is a complete credit to her (and aaron of course!).i have learned a lot from her and am constantly amazed with her talent as a mother and totally dedicated wife. she has dinners planned ahead for her family each month, and she is a great cook and works hard to keep her house clean and a place where people can stop by and feel comfortable any time. i just love walking down the 18 steps or so to her her place most every day to check in and see what's going on down there. we plan most of our outings together so that we can travel together and save gas, and we just love spending time with our boys!


she is the compassionate service coordinator in our ward, and i can't think of a better calling for her. she has dinners planned for expecting mothers before their babies are even born, and she doesn't only coordinate them but also participates in helping them out too. she is so aware of the needs of people around her, and she's almost 6 months pregnant but is so willing to serve. she is so loyal to friends and family and welcomes anyone into her circle of friends - and she has A LOT of friends! she was so central to my transition down here too. she introduced me to the grocery stores in our area and got me all hooked up with WIC and with the right ward and with all of the friends she'd already made down here. she also got us our apartment and our washer and dryer and is just always looking for ways to make the lives of the people around here happier and better. i know i can count on her for anything, and i'm so thankful for that!


i really could go on for a long time about all of lacey's talents and strengths, but hopefully the ones i've listed so far will make her smile and help her to know that she is appreciated and loved and noticed for all of the hard work that she does! love you lace, and i'm sooo happy that we're down here together doing what we do. thank you for all of your help and support and love and fun :) you're the best!
