so...my husband became a member of the western club at his school when he started down here - weird considering he's not really the ridin ropin cowboy type, but it's more of a social thing, and his little club planned a party at the school this past weekend :) the 3 of us got all dressed up in the most westerny outfits we could find (collared shirts basically) and headed on over for some line dancing and treats. they had a baking contest - pretty smart idea to get food to an event without having to buy if you ask me - and there were treats galore! they also had it from 5-8, so the cakes, pies, cookies, and treats served as dinner for lots of us. that should help with my extra baby weight! haha
here are the line dancing fools! sadly, becks wasn't a fan of the line dancing, so i was stuck holding him, but we had fun watching everyone one shimmy and shake and 1-2-3 step :)
i decided to use a delicious looking recipe that marisa posted on her blog the day before the bake sale, and i was a little nervous with our silly american ingredients down here. i couldn't find toffee bits without chocolate on them, and i put in too much oatmeal and not enough coconut, but they must have turned out good anyway cuz dust was in love with them, and we won 1st place in the contest! we got a $50 gift certificate to the book store - yay! haha we weren't expecting anything but felt like we should take something, and now my hubby can get a free text book! i give all the credit to marisa though - thanks chickee - they were a hit!

Way to go on the bake-off. You totally need to post that recipe!
first of all...what baby weight, you are looking mighty amazing and putting us true keepers of our weight to shame. Dust looks like he is concentrating pretty intensely on his move.
