good times with aunt kris!

despite this sad looking picture, we did have some fun times when aunt kris came to visit! there was a lot of rain, yes, but we made our own fun and LOVED having her here! beckam loved having someone else to read to him, play with him, and entertain him, and i loved the company and spending time with my sis :)

 

becks is still a mama's boy at heart and didn't exactly want to leave the kitchen with kris to read, but he was up for a book on the kitchen floor!

 

part of the fun of having an aunt come to visit are her cool clothes too i guess cuz beckam was loving this vest of hers and thought he was pretty funny running around the house dragging it behind him :)

 

kris and i also decided to attempt to finish my 1000 piece puzzle that i've been putting off for over a year now. lace helped when she was down, and it only took us a few days of craziness to finish our masterpiece! sadly, there is one single piece missing that we cannot find anywhere - ugh!!!! it's pretty cool though.

 

one night, kris was munchy, and i was craving cookie dough, so i whipped up a batch and we were both completely satisfied, obviously! it was soooo yummy and so were the cookies the next day :) mmmmm!

 

she must have felt guilty after the cookie dough or inspired by biggest loser though cuz she got dust doing some exercises during commercials! haha sadly, my prego belly prevented me from competing to see who could hold this pose the longest!

 

one of our outings was to the portland temple, and it was fun just to walk the grounds and smell the flowers. beckam loves flowers and posed away with those pretty things, but he would not cooperate for pictures with his 2 favorite gals - not a single smile and only 1 or 2 shots did he look at the camera the stinker! still cute though!

 

 

 

 

 

why hello there belly! there's the 7 months prego me....large and in charge, but i can still manage to give my boy a ride!

 

on kristen's last day here, we finally got some sun and took advantage by checking out the crazy busy zoo scene with aj. first stop, snacks!

 

becks usually loves the monkeys, but their faces were a little scary this time, and he took comfort in aunt kris - awww.

thanks for coming to visit aunt kris! we had soooo much fun and can't wait for the next visit - hopefully filled with fun in the sun this time!
