during the winter months in portland, there obviously isn't as much to keep us entertained with all of the rain and cold. so, we turn to inside fun, and one of our favorite places to play is the Children's Museum. it really is heaven on earth for kids. they have a clay room and a woodworking room and a little grocery store and a water room and a theatre and tons of other rooms all toddler size! it's pretty awesome, and becks loves it already :)
this is in what i like to call the baby room. there's room to crawl around without all of the crazy older kids, and it's full of toys with a little waterfall and a soft slide and just fun stuff. becks loves the water most of course!
he tried the actual water room for the 1st time on our last trip, and he wasn't such a big fan to begin with. after he realized the water vest wasn't going to hurt him though, he loved it! he's still a little short to play with everything, but he loved seeing the ducks float down the stream with his favorite cousin aj!
he loves splashing outside the water room though - hard to pull him away actually!
becks is a big fan of the whole teeth brushing thing and loves to brush the dinosaur's teeth while we're there. he also got in on the giant toothbrush action this time too - mmmmm germs!
we tried a few self-portraits together, and this is best we got! haha his eyes were closed in every other single one - guess the flash is a little too bright....
last but not least, we hit up the wooden train/ambulance room. becks loves driving when he gets a chance at the wheel!
we love our Children's Museum, and we've especially loved it this past month of record setting rain! can't wait for the sun to show its face around these parts again but for now, thank goodness for inside fun!

SOOO fun! Totally jealous. Man, Fort Mac really sucks sometimes. There's NOTHING to do here, and it's -40 half the year!
LOVE It!! Cute pics too! Now the rain just needs to go away so we can play outside :)
