i know that i'll probably do this again in few months when beckam turns one, but i just feel like there is so much about this cute little guy that is changing and evolving, and it's so much fun that it needs to be documented somewhere - and what better place than the family blog!
this little guy is at such a fun stage right now and is developing more and more of his little personality every day. here are a few of the little quirks that i love about our becks.......
~ i know what i want and i want it now!!! sound familiar?!? beckam knows this saying well!
~ he is a carbaholic - bread, oatmeal, granola bars, etc
~ beckam is still swaddled with every nap and at night. he gets out of it almost as soon as i lay him down, but he loves being snugged all up before sleep time!
~ he loves to give high 5's
~ our boy refuses to crawl but loves to walk and is scaling furniture, walls, and anything else he can get his hands on
~ he is screecheriffic - loves the sound of his own voice
~ he's such a smiley boy and can light up a room with that smile of his :)
~ beckam is not a fan of the mama or dada sounds but loves baba
~ he's finally over his fear of sitting up in the bath and loves bath time even more now that he's conquered the slippery bathtub
~ beckam is a mover and a groover, but his favorite mode of transportation is rolling - he can get anywhere he wants until he runs into a wall or something!
~ he loves love LOVES barney, and i love my time to get things done so i love barney too!
~ becks loves anything sugar and especially loves his blueberries like grandpa hill
~ he loves animals, especially puppies and gets so excited when we even say the word puppy
~ we still haven't lowered beckam's crib mattress - he can't get to sitting or standing up position from laying down by himself for the life of him! oh and we are so ok with that little quirk!
~ i tried him out in a front facing carseat today for a little drive today to see how he liked it - loved it!
~ he's not a picky eater but refuses anything in his small baby bowl if he sees us eating something
~ beckam has his own song called "beckam boo" and likes it sung to him before every nap
~ he still can't figure out the straw thing - one day!
~ becks is an awesome nighttime sleeper but is super sensitive with naps and with sleeping anywhere else other than his crib - guess that's what we get with sleep training!
~ becks loves his dad and gets so excited when he gets home from school every day
~ he is our pride and joy, and we are loving every little phase of his little life!
beckam is growing up so much and is such a little boy now! we love it and love him and can't believe he's coming up on birthday #1 - crazy!!!

Oh my!!!! I love his little runners and he is looking like such a little boy now! No more baby. Love all the little points about our little Becks! Can't hardly wait to see him on his birthday!!!!
How did you make your pictures look like that? I loved it. They looked aged. So funky.
I'm supposed to be sewing costumes right now. I'm avoiding it. Blogging seemed like a good distraction.

My aunt told me she taught all her kids to drink from a straw by using juice boxes. She would squeeze them a little when there mouth was on the straw and they would learn to suck because the juice was already there? Just an idea. Lucy a Beckam are close to the same age and it's funny to see how they do and like different things!!!
I can't believe he's almost 1 already! Such a cutie. Also, congrats on the 3 year anniversary. You guys are the cutest couple!
