yes, i have 2

it seems like my youngest handsome little man has lived in the shadows of his older brother so far, and i just wanted to make sure that you all knew that i do know that i have 2 boys! lace helped me out with yet another little photo shoot the other day, so here is my maddox man just shy of 3 months :)

 

mads LOVES his baths and could stare at the pictures on our walls for hours. he goes down for naps like a champ and is the apple of his big brother's eye. beckam loves loves loves his little bro and is always giving him kisses and hugs and asks to hold him every morning - it's pretty darned cute. we've forced the soother issue, and maddox loves his soother thankfully, but we've stayed away from it being a sleep prop. we learned our lesson with becks!

 

he's such a little stud and is really an amazing baby. he wakes up 1-2 times per night which is new to us with beckam having figured out the 12 hour thing by 2 1/2 months, but maddox has already conquered the nap that lasts longer than an hour unlike his older brother, so we're very proud :)

 

he really only fusses when he's hungry or tired or when he's had enough staring at the pictures on the walls and needs some attention, and we love giving him all the attention we can because he has the cutest little smiles!

 

oh and have i mentioned that our little mads isn't so little in case you couldn't tell from the pictures. he was in the 90th percentile for weight and height at his 2 month check-up, and i'm sure he'll be at least that if not more at his 4 month. he's in 6-12 month clothes already, and he's just a solid big little man! we can't imagine our family without him, and he's just an amazing little baby! i love his little button nose and his soft little hands and his chubby monkey cheeks, and i just can't wait to see more of his personality come out as he keeps growing and changing. we just love him to pieces!

 

now, you didn't think we'd do a photo shoot without including my oldest little man did you! here are some of becks lately. he is almost 2 as hard as that is to believe, and he's acting like it! the stubborn rebellious emotional crazy terrible 2's seem to be setting in, and we're excited for this phase so that we can put it behind us!

 

 

he's in his big boy bed for good, but we still find him in strange places throughout the room sometimes. his soother is officially "all gone" and he still asks for it but is managing with his blanket instead. he is more and more boy as he gets older and loves sports and running fast and jumping high and climbing all over everything! he makes me laugh every day. he hates time outs and loves his little brother and playing ba-ball with dad. he can't get enough of riding bikes with megan, erika, and aj, and he's now asking for caillou over barney sometimes - woohoo! anyway, just love my beckam boo :)

 

here are my 2 boys, and i can't wait to watch their friendship develop and their love for each other grow. they are both so stinkin cute and bring us more joy than we could have ever imagined!

 

 

 

i LOVE being a mom, and i know that my beckam and maddox were meant to be ours. yes, our life is completely crazy sometimes, but it's the best kind of crazy, and i love it and love them and love life :)
