beckam was sooooo excited to play soccer this year! we bought his shin pads and cleats early, and he wanted to wear them every day just to practice :)
we weren't sure how he would handle the games and winning/losing and if he'd ever score a goal or if that would matter to him at all, but we were so excited to go and watch and cheer him on!
they just practiced on day #1, and he loved all of the drills even though it was freezing cold! he must have worked hard cuz he passed right out (along with dad) after he got home.
he did end up scoring a few goals along the way, and it was quite possibly the cutest thing ever! haha he would turn around with the biggest smile on his face and run straight to us for a high five/hug/celebration :) he was soooo excited every time it happened!
he learned how to pass and how to shake the other teams' hands after the game, and he just looked forward to every saturday morning when he got all dressed up and ready to go :) can't wait for next year!
