when my mom heard that we were thinking of doing the half marathon here )and i may have complained about not wanting to ask anyone to watch our 4 kiddos at 430 in the am a little), she surprised me and booked a flight down to visit!
quincey was excited to spend some quality time with her nana and so were the boys!!! jeter is a little nana-obsessed so he was especially happy to have her around every day :)
we swam and went to the zoo (where quinc got her first sunburn - oops!) and nana let the boys ride the camel - so fun!
then, we swam some more :) jeter learned how to use his floaty and was in heaven!
nana bought beckam a rainbow loom, and he was so excited! and she helped jeter get in on the kid race action!
we went to bounce u, and seriously, i have the best mom and my kids have the best nana! she was all over those bouncy houses and loving every minute of it!
dust and i also got to go on a couple date nights which was amazing!!! we got to go to church - alone, no kids - and it's crazy how you can actually get something out of it when you get to focus on what's being said!
we also cashed in on dust's christmas present and hit up a suns/clippers game :) go clips!
on her last day, we visited the puppy store and got some gelato and just soaked up every last minute with her!!!
i know that most daughters probably feel the same way, but i'm pretty sure i have the best mom in the whole entire world! it's very rare that a day passes without us chatting, and life is always easier and happier and better when she's around :) she always there for me and my family, and she is the funnest nana. love this lady so much and sooooooo good to have her visit!!!!! 10 days went by way too fast!!!!! love ya lynny!
