WE LOVE MAIL!!!!! there is something different about living this far away from home and receiving a little piece of paper saying you have mail compared to checking your mailbox every day. it's sooooo much more exciting, and we're sooooo much more thankful for every little letter we get :)
my amazing friend chelsea sent us a little christmas package all the way from the literal great white north, and i couldn't have been more excited or more touched by her amazingness! the boys, on the other hand, couldn't be more excited to play with..........SNOW!!!!!
she sent us these little packages of fake snow. you just add water and tada - snow! the boys were in heaven :)
chels, i can't tell you how fun it was to have snow in the caribbean or how awesome it was to hear from you! thank you oh so very much for thinking of us and for sending us such fun little presents! love you forever and ever!
we were also patiently waiting for a little something from Alaina and Grandma and Grandpa Tolman, and it turned out to be more than we ever could have expected! the boys loved all of the little trinkets and toys and friends and games and treats and were in heaven for days with new things to play with - which is kinda hard to come by here!
their favorite things were the reindeer antlers and blinking noses! haha too cute and so fun! thank you so much to the tolmans for thinking of us and for making our day :) we miss and love you lots and lots!!!
we also loved the christmas cards we received all the way over here on our remote little island and are so thankful to everyone who thought of us :) mail really is the best no matter where you live (minus the bills of course) and i just wanted to do a little shout out to your mailing kinda people. keep it up - it means the world to the receivers :)

Yes, mail is definitely the best, and I appreciated it most when I've lived the furthest from home. So fun! And tell me more about this snow??? Is it even cold? I want to send my sister some in North Carolina!
