the best of the best!

here's another list of 10 and some of the best of the best pictures taken around here lately :) lots of beach time as you can see!

 

 

1. dust just finished his 2nd term of medical school - crazy! i still can't believe that he's going to be a doctor and that we're really living in the caribbean doing this right now - also crazy!

2. i can't turn my brain off lately. i'm up til all hours of the night planning what we're going to do on christmas eve and imagining us picking up my parents at the airport and thinking about christmas at home and how we're going to carry over a tradition or two to our sunny beachful christmas here.....fun to think about, but i wish i could do my thinking in the daytime and sleep at night!

 

 

3. i finally joined pinterest at my husband's request, and our lives haven't been the same since! holy best ideas ever!

4. i lost my toe ring of 15 years in the ocean the other day - soooooo sad :( my toe will be permanently indented, and i'm anxiously awaiting a replacement ring, and i'm on the look out every time we're at the beach for a little silver something buried in the sand!

 

 

5. i love seashells!!! one of my favorite things to do at the beach is search for new treasures to put in my shell jar at home :) the boys love searching too!

6. we're moving on saturday, and i can't wait! a new house and new set up and some new hand me down toys and a pest control guy who comes every month to spray for bugs - woohoo!

 

 

7. my boy is turning 3 on sunday, and i'm in denial! it just doesn't seem possible that i can have a 3 year old! we get to have his party at the park in the sun in december too - so fun!

8. i found out recently (from my amazing mother-in-law moj) that there is a national popcorn day! are you kidding me?!?!?! i seriously CANNOT wait for jan 19th to come around!

 

 

9. i've decided that my kids are some of the most influential people in my lives. i mean, i'm better because of them, and they teach me something new every day, and i want to be more like them. there's a scripture that says in order to fight off the natural man in us, we need to become more like children, and i couldn't agree more! love my kids more than life itself and so thankful for the lessons they teach me and the mom they're helping me to be :)

 

 

10. christmas is coming tra-la tra-la, and as much as i'm missing my family and snow and real christmas trees and such, i'm soooooo excited for christmas here with my boys :) 18 more sleeps!!!!!!
