i heard about pinterest all over facebook and tried sign up a time or two but only recently actually found out what all the hype was about, and i have to say....it's changing our lives! haha well, it may not be changing our lives, but it's making our life here more fun and more yummy and more creative, and i love it! just fun to find a place where genius ideas like these can travel the world and make some little boys' day in the caribbean so much more fun :)
we've always had tape and cars in our house, but i never would have thought to put them together for a homemade race track all around the house! soooo fun!
we've also had sponges laying around the house for the cleaning in should be doing, but using them this way is wayyyyy more fun!
blankets, towers, race tracks, or just throwing them around the house. love it!
then, there's this cute little christmas tree made out of the toilet paper rolls that usually go straight to the garbage and.....
christmas tree pizzas! beckam had so much fun decorating his lunch, and it looks even yummier dressed up as a christmas tree!
then, there's my personal favorite and probably only because it's the most recent genius idea stolen from someone else on pinterest.....shaving cream paint all over the shower!
and each other of course!
a work of art and a good 45 mins of happy peace and quiet and fun for the mom :) awesome!!!
i'm sure many of you have thought of these creative little fun ideas on your own, but i owe them as well as tons of new yummy recipes i've been trying out to pinterest . THANK YOU to whoever created this ridiculous site with all of the pins and boards and followers and to all of you amazing people who post your ingenious creations there to keep us busy and having the time of our lives over here :) can't wait to try something new tomorrow!

I just read a whole booty load of posts that I've missed and I love your little life there! Your hike looked so pretty, you're getting so tan, and I loooove Pinterest too! I have to limit myself or I can spend forever on there! Also, do you have an amazing camera? Your pictures always turn out so well. I'm so excited for the move and can't wait to see pics (saw your post about it on fb the other day). Hope you have a super fun Christmas out there!
