just me

sometimes, i just like blogging about something other than the amazing and cute and awesome boys in my life, and this 10 on tuesday fad gives me a great excuse to do just that, so here we go!

1. i could eat cereal for every meal of the day, especially if i had fresh blueberries, strawberries, and bananas to put on top. vector, honey bunches of oats, alpha-bets, cinnamo cheerios, mmmmm!

2. i think our landlord thinks that my garment top/tank top morning combo is an actual outfit. he's seen me hanging laundry and come to the door and seen me before i could run and get a shirt. oops! not sure if that's bad or not, but such is statia life!

3. i miss movies and movie popcorn. there is no theatre and no movie rental place here, but we still get all the trailers and hear the reviews! i guess it'll be fun to catch up one day.....

4. purple seems to be our family color. it's beckam's favorite color. dust picked it for our keyboard cover and it's the color of one of my favorite shirts of his, and it's my favorite toe nail polish color. maddox loves it by default :)

5. the next movie i'm going to watch when the tv goes out or when there's nothing else on is teenage mutant ninja turtles - the movie, and i can't wait! i remember being so excited when i got it for christmas years and years ago, and i just love it! haha

6. i'm dying for a good fall day - raking leaves, wearing jeans, carving pumpkins, making corn chowder and biscuits for dinner, etc. i love my island life, but i love my fall season too!

7. i kinda feel like i'm ready for baby #3, but i feel like i should be crazy to feel like that too. hmmmm......

8. why does time always feel like it's going soooo slow when you look ahead but seems to fly by when you look back?!?!

9. i was near tears the other day while i was watching a barney christmas movie with beckam. the songs were making me homesick for christmas, and i'm already sad that we won't be around our amazing families for that bestest time of year :( i'm also super excited about making our own statia christmas memories and starting our little tolman traditions though!

10. i feel kinda self-conscious doing a blog about me and my thoughts. weird how you just become mom and forget about the you before that. it's kinda nice to reminisce every once in a while though :)
